Closed

Between deadlines at work and keeping a gym routine, I have been able to avoid the mall during lunch breaks. Imagine my surprise when I saw this.

Right beside is this.

At the end of the corridor...
Whew! Just under renovation.

Across that is...
Another store under renovation.

Lastly, the saddest picture (to me). This used to be my favourite Tristan branch. No more brick-and-mortar in BC but their head office promises online service (fingers drumming and holding breath).

The big dollar store has closed down too. Sometimes, January is just not the time for bargains, huh?

  1. I think Tristan is shutting down a lot of its stores. The store at the Toronto Eaton Centre is going to a Pink soon. Also, I think a lot of malls are undergoing major renos, moving and/or getting rid of stores The Eaton Centre also got rid of Talbots, and Juicy Couture is taking its place (yeah, I know...) Mango closed too, and I have a feeling it might become Express (no word as to what it is as of Sunday).

    BTW, what mall is that?

  3. @CynthiaC: Wish Talbots or Mango would even come here. I'm still waiting for BR. This is the Coquitlam Ctr mall.

@Tang: Yeah, I know. My card (and hubby) is happy.

@Callandra: So so sad. I'd be happy if AT would come over!

  5. Oh wow..that's so sad. I've been to Tristan once when I was in Toronto. Even though, I didn't buy anything back then but I really like that store.
